• An Explosive Conclusion

So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”   -Matthew 19:28 I want to revisit one huge passage. Perhaps the passage that informs them all, on the subject of when “regeneration” occurs, in Isaiah. I agree that Romans 8 is significant, as we will take a quick look at, but the one to which I refer is in Isaiah, but before we go there: Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not…

  • Perpetual Notions

The subject of eternity is fraught with issues when delving into the original languages of the Bible. Without getting into the technical too much, because such blogs and articles are legion, I thought it might be instructive to look at the problem from another angle. The problem is somewhat this: The various words in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek can mean a really long time, or, sometimes it means “forever,” especially when referring to God. Therefore, I thought it might be interesting to look at a half dozen of these from more of a logic standpoint. That’s allowed, right? God is logical. We can easily make the case that none is…

  • If You Think Daniel’s 70 Weeks Have Passed…

So for my friends who say all Daniel’s 70 weeks have been fulfilled, explain to me when this happened: nnDan.9:27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.” Chapter 12, I would note, says these events take place at the “end of days”:nn11 And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.…

  • Offending God

Few topics rankle the believer more than being accused of observing paganism. When we think about paganism we think about ancient false idols, sacrificing children to Moloch and a variety of debauchery and orgies, all of which are the stuff of fringe cults and bygone cultures long deceased. So such accusations are unmerited today in this culture, we often tell ourselves. In a melting pot of cultures such as we in particular find ourselves in the good ol’ U.S.A., can we really avoid all forms? Should we? What about the harmless and fun observations that hurt no one that have become so ingrained in our modern culture? There are some…

  • the Methuselah Principlen and the Mercy of God

In my book Prophecy: From Now On… I describe something I call “The Methuselah Principle.” That being, his name roughly translates, “When he is gone it comes.” Interesting name. Imagine signing that on your school papers in the first grade. “You can just call me When, for short!” Anyway, it sure speaks to God’s mercy. Here is an over 900 year warning in this man’s name! God’s mercy is such that Methuselah was the oldest living man in the history of the world, and still God waited for repentance. Methuselah died, Noah and his family were locked into the ark, and still God waited. Folks walked around, pointed, laughed and…

  • What Revelation 12 is REALLY about

What Revelation 12 is REALLY about. And it MAY be that Sept 23rd marks the BEGINNING of a war that will last for years! Read on…. Revelation 12 is probably NOT what most are saying. Context is about the events that lead in to where John is narrating the start of Mid-Trib events. And what is the lead-in? Yes, there was a sign and here is what it looked like…So this in part is how I ended a recent Blog entry….the sign is not necessarily fixed to events for that day. It is a very good likelihood that it marks off the soon beginning of all these events, without being…
